Holywell Town made the long journey to Barmouth & Dyffryn looking to maintain their 100% winning start to the season and had a perfect start on 8 minutes as Phil Lloyd, tapping in from a Steve Thomas cross. Town looked to add to their goal tally with Lloyd and Sam Jones going close before Lloyd doubled Town's lead shortly afterwards, picking up a short pass before slotting the ball past Darren Andrews.
Barmouth got back into the game and had a couple of efforts before Paul Williams added Town's third with 10 minutes to go before the break to give Town a 3 goal cushion going into the half time interval.
After the break, Paul Lewis pulled one back for the hosts but Dafydd Griffith maintained our 3 goal cushion, heading home at the far post from a Holywell Town free kick.
It was a great 3 points on the road for the Wellmen and set the lads up nicely for next week's FAW Trophy game at home to Nantlle Vale.
