Amlwch Town 0 - 4 Holywell Town

Holywell Town looked to progress into the next round of the FAW Trophy, a competition they won back in 2010/11, and Luke Tyson had the first effort on goal which was cleared off the line. With 28 minutes on the clock, Town nearly took the lead through a great shot by John Davies but Amlwch keeper Harvey Williams saved well. A few minutes later however, the Wellmen took the lead through a John Leonard penalty after Phil Lloyd had been brought down by Amlwch's Shane Pell. Holywell Town doubled their lead on the stroke of half time when Graeme Williams fired home after the home side failed to clear the ball from a Holywell Town corner.

The second half was only a couple of minutes old when Paul Williams added Town's third after a great cross in by Sion McHugh. Williams nearly added another goal a few minutes later but his effort came back out off the cross bar.

Amlwch then had a chance to reduce the deficit but Luke McGivern's effort went over the bar from Dylan Roberts' free kick but a few minutes later, Town scored their 4th of the afternoon through Phil Lloyd who headed home from a Matty Harvey cross.

The score remained 4-0 as the full time whistle went and Town's name are still in the hat as we await next week's draw to see who we are playing in the next round.
