Wellmen sign duo to backroom staff

Holywell Town have announced that Rick Chapman and Tom Allman will join the club as coaches for the new season.

After Andy Lewis stepped down at the end of last season, the Wellmen have acted and brought in Rick Chapman and Tom Allman as First Team Coaches.
After their appointment, Manager John Haseldin added,
“Rick and Tom are both ambitious local lads that will bring enthusiasm and dedication to the job.
Once we’d met with them it was clear that they’d both work well with us,so hopefully it will be the start of a new and exciting time for them both at the club.

They have had plenty of experience and success at youth team levels and the challenge for them now is to help bring that success to Holywell.

We’re all really looking forward to working together during pre season and preparing the lads for the big season ahead.”

Rick Chapman (pictured on left) is about to complete his ‘B’ Licence and has been at Airbus for 7 years, having coached their u19s for the last 2 years, and has also worked at Chester FC in the national league.
Chapman added, “I’m really looking forward to working with the staff and players. It’s a massive opportunity for me to work at such a big club like Holywell and one I will give it my all.”

Tom Allman (pictured on right) is an UEFA ‘A’ Licence Candidate and runs his successful Allman 121 football coaching sessions. He was also Flint Town United Academy Director for 3 years and also worked at Liverpool FC International Academy.

Allman added, “I am really looking forward to become a coach of Holywell Town FC and I have enormous respect for this football club.
I can’t wait to start the new role, soon as I spoke to Johnny, it was an easy decision to make to join the club and I’m looking forward to next season.

The club would like to welcome both Rick and Tom to the club and are looking forward to the forthcoming season.
