The Wellmen made the short journey to Mold Alex for the final match of the season and came home with the points after a 2-0 win.

Once again, there was a large turnout of Wellmen supporters at Alyn Park cheering the lads on, and after a goalless first half, the Wellmen soon broke the deadlock through Gareth Sudlow, who volleyed home at the far post. The Wellmen soon doubled their lead through marksman Shaun Tuck (pictured) and despite further chances for both teams, the game ended 2-0 to the Wellmen.

The victory means the Wellmen finish in the top 5 of the Huws Gray Alliance, has seen Mold Alex finish in the bottom three, and waiting on confirmation if they will be relegated once the feeder leagues see if any teams get promoted.

Coach Andy Lewis said, "Congratulations to all involved to achieve a Top 5 finish in a highly competitive Cymru Alliance League, the Club have continued to build on recent successes and continue to move forward in the right direction."

The Reserves travelled to Castell AC, and lost 2-1, and will look to get back to winning ways on Tuesday night when they make the journey to Chirk AAA.
