Holywell Town's winning run has come to an end after a 4-4 draw against Kinmel Bay.

Played on a cold night at Llandudno's new 3G pitch, Town fell behind with 14 minutes on the clock before Jack D'arcy equalised 5 minutes later. Kinmel Bay then added a second then a Phil Lloyd strike on the stroke of half time leveled matters again.

Bay then took the lead again 3 minutes into the second half before LLoyd equalised again for the Wellmen. Lloyd then put Town ahead in the 70th minute but disaster stuck in the 81st minute when Kinmel Bay equalised, and despite chances for both teams, the score remained 4-4 at the final whistle.

The result was disappointing as the winning run came to an end but we still remain unbeaten this season and will be looking to make amends to this disappointment on Saturday when we travel to Glan Conwy.

The club would like to thank the supporters who turned up to watch the Wellmen given the bad weather forecast and we hope to see you all on Saturday at Glan Conwy.
