The Wellmen eliminated from the Word Cup at Park Hall

It was a great performance by the Wellmen however and the lads can take great pride from their performance against the Word Cup holders.

Ross Ankers gave Town a 11th minute lead, firing home from a Graeme Williams cross to stun the hosts, but they fought back and equalised after 25 minutes before 2 further goals gave them a 3-1 lead at the break.

A further 4 goals were scored by the hosts to give them a 7-1 victory and ensured their passage into the next round of the competition, with Greg Draper getting 5 of TNS' 7 goals.

Town must now get back to winning ways on Saturday as we make the journey to Ruthin Town in the 1st round of the Welsh Cup.
