Holywell Town's matchday programme has again featured highly in the Soccer Club Swap Shop Annual Programme Awards.

"I'm made up yet again that the programme has finished high in both categories, and makes up for all the hard work and effort that goes into producing the programme for every home game.
- Steve Roberts - Secretary

In the Best Programme in Wales category, our Matchday Programme finished in 2nd place behind Denbigh Town, which see’s the clubs swap positions from last season’s standings, with Welsh Alliance side Barmouth & Dyffryn United yet again coming 3rd.
Town's Programme also finished 2nd in the Huws Gray Alliance Category, behind Denbigh Town but ahead of Airbus Broughton’s effort. To do well yet again in the competition for the fourth season in succession is a major accolade and proud moment for the club.

The Top Five list of programmes in Wales are as follows:
1st Denbigh Town
2nd Holywell Town
3rd Barmouth & Dyffryn United
4th Barry Town United
5th Airbus Broughton UK

Having won the best programme award in Wales for the past 4 seasons, Programme Editor Steve Roberts isn’t too upset to have slipped down one place into 2nd position and said, "I'm made up yet again that the programme has finished high in both categories, and makes up for all the hard work and effort that goes into producing the programme for every home game.

With tight deadlines and a number of games in a short space of time, especially near to the end of last season, producing the programme sometimes involves working into the early hours but to finish as high as we did makes all the effort worthwhile.

Yet again, with 3 Huws Gray Alliance clubs in the Top 5, it shows that the standard of the Matchday Programmes in the Huws Gray Alliance is high and I'd like to congratulate all other clubs for their achievements in making the top 10, especially to Denbigh Town who this year took our crown as best programme in Wales. Having seen most programmes produced by HGA Clubs this season, I knew that the standard was high, and I was very impressed with programmes produced by Denbigh Town, Airbus and Porthmadog this season and knew we would have to do well to beat them in the categories.

Having dropped to 2nd place, I'm already planning the content of next season's programme and I will hopefully improve to produce a match winning programme we can be proud of yet again. If you would like to contribute in writing an article or anything in the programme, please do get in touch!"

The Club would like to thank B2 group for printing the matchday programme during the season and for their continued support as we wouldn't have won this award without their support in printing the programme. Also, a big thank you to Delyn Press for printing the programmes covers for the entire season.

The club do have back issues of Matchday Programmes for the past few seasons and if you would like to purchase any of these award winning programmes, please contact a member of the Committee for details, or get in touch with us via social media.
