Reserves pick up a point against Maesgwyn

The Wellmen faced Maesgwyn for the second time in 3 days and the match finished all square at 3-3.

Eddie Barry's men fell to a 4-0 defeat at the hands of tonight's visitors on Saturday, and he was looking for an improvement from his side in tonight's match.
Despite falling behind in the first half, the lads fought back and the scores were level at the break after Jake Cooke's equaliser.

Soon after the half time break, both sides found the target, Ryan Jones grabbing the Wellmen's goal. With the scores locked at 2-2, Town thought they had scored a last minute winner as David Walkiewicz found the back of the net on his debut. Town's hopes of al three points were dashed with the final kick of the game as the visitors scored to level the scores and the points were shared.

Tonight was the first fixture in a busy week for the Reserves, who travel to Coedpoeth on Wednesday before a trip to Llay Welfare on Friday.
