The Wellmen travel to Cae y Castell to face Flint Town United in this mouth-watering first round tie of the FAW Nathaniel MG Cup. The tie will be played on Tuesday 28th August, with kick off time to be confirmed.
The Wellmen were entered into the competition after finishing inside the top 6 places in last season’s Huws Gray Alliance, and it sees the 4th successive year the Wellmen have been involved in the competition. Last Season saw us defeat Welsh Premier League opposition Prestatyn Town on penalties in the first round, before bowing out to Newtown in the 2nd round.
The draw means that the Wellmen will be facing Flint Town United twice within a week, and with a good number of Wellmen supporters at the ground, it is bound to be a great atmosphere and hopefully it will be the Wellmen who proceed into the second round.
