Holywell Town came from behind to beat Glan Conwy 4-2 this afternoon at Halkyn Road.
Played in atrocious conditions, Town fell behind as early as the first minute when Chris King opened the scoring for the visitors. Ian Griffiths got Town back on level terms in the 16th minute and the scores remained one each going into the break.
After the break, Town took the lead as Ian Griffiths got his second of the match on 64 minutes and completed his hatrick a little later to give TOwn a 3-1 lead.
Glan Conwy did pull one back in the 89th minute to give them a glimmer of hope but Steve Thomas scored in injury time to seal the victory.
Town now face Llandudno Junction at their Flyover ground on the 26th Januray after The Railwaymen beat Halkyn United on penalties after the game ended 3-3 after extra time.
