Holywell Town made it 3 wins in 6 days after a great 5-0 victory over Barmouth & Dyffryn United.

The Wellmen, fresh from Saturday's 10-0 win over Pwllheli, started the game well and Barmouth's keeper Tyler French was kept busy with Town attacking his goal. The break through came in the 11th minute when Phil Lloyd opened the scoring with a great individual goal.

Town then had to wait until the 39th minute for the second goal when Paul Williams managed to squeeze the ball past the keeper from a tight angle and the ball rolled into the net. Williams again found the net on the hour mark, when he chipped the ball over the advancing keeper to seal the victory for the Wellmen.

Birthday boy Sam Jones grabbed Town's 4th, shooting hard and low past French after a great ball by Paul Williams to pick him out, then Phil Lloyd grabbed his second of the game after a good ball into him from John Leonard.

The win meant Town had picked up 9 points in 6 days and are now 10 points clear of Llandudno Junction, having played the same amount of games as our nearest rivals who face Glan Conwy on Wednesday night.

It was also great to see a good crowd cheering the lads on with over 200 supporters there, enjoying the football in the spring sunshine. Thanks for your support!!

Town now travel to Llanberis on Saturday, then face Llanrwst a week on Tuesday before the big FAW Trophy Final against Penrhyndeudraeth on the 18th April 2015. Roll on Saturday......
