*** FAW Trophy Semi Final Draw - UPDATED ***

The draw has recently taken place for the Semi Final of the FAW Trophy and details of the venue has now been released by the FAW.

After our last gasp win over Hakin United on Saturday, the Wellmen face Abergavenny Town in the Semi Final stage of the FAW Trophy. The match will be played on Saturday 21st March 2015 and will be played at Caersws Football Club's Recreation Ground with a 2.30pm kick off.

The venue was officially announced this afternoon in a press release by the FAW this afternoon. Details of the other semi final was also announced and the realease had this to say about Holywell Town Football Club.

Holywell Town, one of the competition favourites from the outset, will face the only Area Association side left in the competition, Abergavenny Town at Caersws FC on Saturday 21st March.

The Wellmen remain undefeated all season, except for a Welsh Cup penalty shootout defeat to Welsh Premier League side Aberystwyth Town and Jon Haseldin’s side are sure to be well supported in mid Wales next month. Abergavenny are also a well-supported club and they seem destined to be promoted into the Welsh Football League next season, as they also are enjoying fine domestic campaign.

FAW Head of Competitions Andrew Howard said; “We have two excellent semi-final ties to look forward to featuring four very good football teams. The FAW Trophy continues to evolve and it is certainly growing in excitement and interest and this season’s competition has been the most thrilling I can remember.”

Abervgavenny Town beat Llandudno Junction 4-1 on Saturday to book their place in the Semi Final.

The other semi final see's Glantraeth face Penrhyndeudraeth and that match will be played at Bangor's Book People Stadium on Wednesday 18th March.
