The Wellmen made a good start and took the lead as early as the 9th minute through Jay Wilkes, (pictured). Town increased their lead 10 minutes later through Ross Tate, then a minute later, Castell Alun Colts were back in the game as they pulled one back through Nathan Jones.
Town didn't have long to wait to increase their lead as Kieren Price made it 3-1 shorlty afterwards. Five minutes later, Nathan Williams made it 4-1 before Kieren Price got his second of the match a few minutes later.
Sam Edwards made it 6-1 on the stroke of half time to put the Wellmen in control and the second half was only a few minutes old when Sam Edwards got his second of the game. Castell Alun pulled one back through Joseph Williams then with 10 minutes remaining, Jay Wilkes made it 8-2 to the Wellmen.
The lads came off the pitch with the 3 points after another excellent performance to make it 20 goals in 2 games, and with tough matches ahead against Queens Park and Buckley Town who are 2nd at 3rd respectively in the Reserves Division, it will be a good test for Eddie Barry's men, who will be full of confidence going into these matches.
Well Done Lads.....
