The Wellmen make the short journey to Wrexham to face Gresford Atheltic on Saturday.
After the disappointment of having last week's game at Caersws called off due to a water logged pitch, the Wellmen will be looking to build on the previous Saturday's excellent 5-0 victory over Ruthin Town and to climb back to second place in the Huws Gray Alliance League Table.
The Wellmen welcome back Steve Lewis back into the squad after he was forced to sit out the victory over Ruthin through suspension, and Phil Lloyd (pictured) should be fit after picking up an injury in the game at Holyhead Hotspur earlier in January. Sam Jones fired a hat trick against Ruthin Town and will be hoping to add to his tally on Saturday.
Manager John Haseldin added, "Gresford are a tough side and like us they have benefited from a lot of their squad playing together for a while now. There's a good solid spine to their team with the likes of Dave McIntyre and Max Peate who are quality players.
We probably havent given the best account of ourselves in our recent games against them though, so we will have a big point to prove and the challenge now is for us to prove what we are about."
The match between both sides earlier in the season saw Gresford Athletic take a 2 goal lead at the break, but 2 goals in the final 10 minutes saw the Wellmen earning a point after Steve Lewis and Danny Desormeaux found the back of the net, with Desormeaux's goal coming in the 92nd minute. Last season's match at Clappers Lane saw the Wellmen put in one of their worse performances of the season and fell to a heavy 3-0 defeat. Hopefully, we will put that result right on Saturday.
Please note the match kicks off a little earlier at 2.00pm and like previous season's, the Wellmen are expecting a good turn out at Clappers Lane cheering the lads on to victory.
