Wellmen Progress into the NEWFA Challenge Cup Semi Final
The Wellmen overcame Castell Alun Colts by 2 goals to nil to progress into the Semi Final of the NEWFA Challenge Cup.
On a wet and dismal night, goals by Morgan Murray and Mark Winslade was enough to see the Wellmen through into the semi final of the cup the club won last season. The Wellmen gave first team debuts to Jack Baines-Hughes, Luka Graham, Isaac Goundrey, Oliver Clowes, Joe Badeeb, George Jones and Logan Bailey in the victory.
The draw for the semi final will be made in due course where joining the Wellmen are Flint Mountain, and the winners of the Mold Alex v Rhostyllen tie, and Ruthin Town v Gresford Athletic.
