Barmouth and Dyffryn Utd first up for Wellmen

Final preparations are being made for the Welsh Alliance opener at Halkyn Road this Saturday, as Holywell Town look to go one better than last season, having lost out to Holyhead by a single point last time around.

New Manager Johnny Haseldin has added a few new faces to the squad, with right back Tom Povey arriving from Denbigh Town, midfielder Graham Williams signing from Division 2 side Greenfield, and Marc Gunther Signing from Rhydymwyn. The Wellmen will also welcome back Adam Price after a lengthy period out through injury.
Haseldin will not however be able to select Ryan Davies who serves the 2nd of a 4 game suspension following a red card at Glan Conwy in April, and John Shepherd who has work commitments at the London Olympics.

Tomorrow's visitors Barmouth slipped to a double defeat at the hands of the Wellmen last season, with an entertaining 3-2 win at Wern Mynach, including a Tony Roebuck double followed up with a 7-0 thumping at Halkyn Road on the last day of the season.

Tomorrow's Game kicks off at 2.30pm, and admission prices this season have risen for the first time in 8 years.
