The first team game against Porthmadog failed a pitch inspection at 10am and the match had to be called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
The Reserves made the journey to Penycae and were beaten 3-1.
Jack Mackie was sent off on 15 minutes after getting tangled with the Penycae forward and unfortunately as he was the last man was given a red card by the match referee.
Playing for 75 minutes was going to be tough against the hosts, who's side included a couple of first team players after their match was called off, and the Wellmen found themselves 3-0 down at the interval.
A Josh Maldon penalty with quarter of an hour left reduced the arrears but the Wellmen couldn't add to their tally and left Penycae empty handed.
