The Reserves returned home with all 3 points after a 3-0 victory over Ruthin Town Reserves.

3 points, Clean Sheet and we maintain our unbeaten start
- Eddie Barry - Manager

Eddie Barry's side went into the game on the back of 2 draws and were hoping for their first win of the season and Sam Edwards gave the Wellmen the lead just before the half hour mark, firing home from close range.

Town survived a scare a few minutes later when the home side missed a penalty after the ball came back out off the crossbar, then on the stroke of half time, Town increased their lead through Nathan Williams, after a good move involving Williams and Sam Edwards to give the Wellmen a 2-0 lead at the break.

The side lost Shay Davies through injury early in the second half but remained in control and midway through the half, Ashley Davies made sure of the points with a fine header from a corner.

Eddie Barry was full of praise for his side after the game, and said, "3 points, Clean Sheet and we maintain our unbeaten start with out being at our best. The future looks bright"

Well done lads.
