Holywell Town Reserves picked up their 2nd point of the season after a 1-1 draw at Buckley Town.

It was a great result against a strong Buckley Town team and the attitude of the squad was fantastic this evening
- Eddie Barry - Manager

The young Reserves fell behind after half an hour to a scrappy goal and were unable to find the equaliser and the hosts led at the half time break.

The second half saw the Wellmen put in a better performance, and were rewarded midway through the half thanks to 16 year old Aidan Farren, getting on the end of a great pass by Owen Davies and calmly controlled the ball before finishing with confidence shortly after coming on as sub.

The Wellmen pressed for a winner but unfortunately it never came and the game ended with the honours shared and the Wellmen will be hoping to pick up their first victory of the season on Saturday with a trip to Rhos Aelwyd Reserves.

Manager Eddie Barry added, "It was a great result against a strong Buckley Town team and the attitude of the squad was fantastic this evening. The match was a great advertisement for the Reserves League played at a fast pace."
