The Reserves travelled to Saltney Town looking to add to Saturday's excellent 8-0 victory over Llangollen Town, and returned home from Saltney's Sandy Lane pitch with all 3 points after a 2-1 over the bordermen.

Connor Littler (pictured) was the hero at both ends of the pitch for the Wellmen! His evening started in goal and Town conceded an 8th minute penalty, but Littler produced an excellent save to deny the home side taking the lead.

Saltney did however take the lead on 22 minutes through Joe Trueman, but Littler was replaced inbetween the sticks on 25 minutes and made an impact a few minutes later, scoring the equaliser in the 34th minute.

The score remained 1-1 through out the second half, and with both teams thinking the game was going to end 1-1, Nathan Williams had other ideas and scored a screamer in injury time to give the Wellmen the points.

The Wellmen next travel up to Penycae looking to make it 3 wins on the bounce, and tonight's victory has lifted the Reserves up into the top half of the Reserves Division.
