Reserves pick up their first point of the season after drawing 2-2 with Gresford Athletic.

The reserves opened up their season in the Reserves league with a point.

The game got underway and Town took the lead in the 15th minute through Sam Edwards. The visitors equalised 10 minutes laters through Taylor Williams.

With half an hour on the clock, Town regained the lead, Sam Edwards grabbing his second goal of the game.

Gresford equalised again 5 minutes into the second half through Owen Davies and despite Town having further chances, the Wellmen could not add to their tally and the game ended 2-2, meaning Eddie Barry’s side picked up their first point of the season.

It was a good performance and the side will now look to get their first victory in the midweek fixture at Buckley Town.
