John is a former coach at Mold, looking after a number of youth teams and has won plenty of trophies in his time there. John is a big Holywell fan and attends most 1st team and reserves home games. In his day John was a useful player on the pitch as well as managing in Sunday league, his son currently plays for U19's team and his daughter is with the girls.

John, who works as a teacher at Broughton Primary school said today,

"I am glad to be part of the Holywell set up, after a spell managing and coaching in junior football I wanted to test myself in the senior leagues. Being a Holywell fan it was too good an opportunity to let pass"
