Saturday see's a historic day as Holywell Town travel to Bangor to face the newly formed CPD Bangor 1876.

The Club was formed by supporters of Bangor City FC who were concerned by the troubles surrounding the Tier 2 North side, and the supporters got together and CPD Bangor 1876 was formed.

The Club played their first match last week against FC United, and despite the scoreline where they were well beaten 12-1, the club was overjoyed that their dreams had become reality and the club played their first competitive match.
Bangor 1876 played away at Chester midweek but today see's the side play its first match at their new home at Treborth, part of Bangor University.

Holywell Town go into the game on the back of Tuesday night's 2-1 defeat against Wrexham and once again, Manager John Haseldin will be hoping his players put in a great performance to give him a managerial headache as he looks ahead to the start of the new season which is only a couple of weeks away.

The match is due to kick off at 1pm and the club have a supporters bus booked for the game. If you fancy a trip down the coast to Bangor, please see our social media posts and reserve your seat today.

Come on Town!
