The Wellmen travelled to Holyhead Hotspur looking for three points to keep the pressure on those above them in the Huws Gray Alliance League after seeing last week's game at Llanfair United called off.
Steve Lewis gave the Wellmen the lead before Alex Jones equalised for the hosts. Tom McElmeel (pictured) then scored the winner from the penalty spot after Phil Lloyd had been felled to win the penalty.
The victory keeps the Wellmen in the top 4 of the League and the Wellmen next face Denbigh Town at Halkyn Road next Saturday.
The Reserves game against Llay Welfare at Halkyn Road was called off due to a waterlogged pitch.
