Pwllheli 0 - 2 Holywell Town

Town travelled to the Lleyn Peninsular to play Pwllheli on Easter Saturday.

Played in glorious sunshine, Town travelled to Pwllheli fresh from the 5-0 thumping of Glan Conwy two days earlier and looked to add to the impressive victories picked up in the previous week.

Town started the better of the teams and with half an hour on the clock, Sam Jones saw his shot come off the post after a great move down the left. It took to the stroke of half time for Town to make the breakthrough when Phil Lloyd was on hand to strike the ball home after a Matty Roberts throw in found him in space inside the box.

With 10 minutes of the second half on the clock, Town were awarded a penalty which Sam Jones converted to give Town a 2 goal lead over the hosts.

Despite chances at both end, the final scored remained 2-0 to Town and it has been an impressive week for the Wellmen picking up 9 points out of a possible 9 and scoring 15 goals without conceding any goals......roll on the Easter Monday home game against Gwalchmai.
