Welsh Alliance Annual General Meeting and Awards Presentation 2014/15

The Welsh Alliance League held its Annual General Meeting and Awards presentation on Saturday 20th June 2015.

Holwyell Town football club were there to be presented with the 3 trophy's that we won last season as well as a couple of further awards as John Haseldin picked up the Manager of the Year award and Sam Jones picked up the top goalscorer award for the season.

Following news of his retirement earlier this month, John James also picked up a special achievement award for his services to North Wales football over the years.

During the Awards ceremony, Welsh Alliance League Chairman Billy Evans wished the club well next season in the Cymru Alliance and wished us well in our goal of reaching the Welsh Premier League. He was sorry to see us go and thanked us for what we have done for the League over the years and mentioned our Welsh Cup run of the past couple of seasons and raising the profile of the Welsh Alliance League.

He also wished us well for the future and told the audience that due to the FAW boundaries, we will no longer be permitted to play in the Welsh Alliance if we do find ourselves relegated in the future and commented with our facilites at Halkyn Road that we will be missed in the future.
