The Wellmen travelled to Caersws and came back with the points after a 2-0 victory.

The game was less than 10 minutes old when Steve Thomas gave the Wellmen a great start, shooting past goalkeeper Luke Evans. Sam Jones had a couple of chances to increase Town's lead but his shots went wide of the goal, and just before half time, Matty Kendrick had a header hit the side netting from a Sam Jones free kick.

The second half saw further chances for the Wellmen but the decisive 2nd goal came after 67 minutes when Mark Winslade picked up the ball on the edge of the box, and turned and fired home to double the Wellmen's advantage.

Further chances fell to the Wellmen, with Sam Jones coming the closest to get Town's third goal after he ran into the box and beat a couple of defenders but his shot hit the post from a tight angle.

The win keeps the Wellmen in 5th place and with Guilsfield travelling to Halkyn Road next week, Town will be looking for a win which will seem them climb above Guilsfield in the Huws Gray Alliance League.

The Resereves also had a great win after defeating Overton Reserves 7-1 at Halkyn Road, with Ryan Edge, Ryan Jones, Callum Pritchard, David Jones, Leo Finnan, Luke Homig all on the scoresheet along with one Own Goal. The Reserves will be looking to claim another victory in their midweek fixture at Rhostyllen.
