Played in front of a good crowd, the Wellmen took the lead in the 36th minute through Steve Thomas, and doubled their lead a minute or so into the second half through Jamie McDaid.
Llanfair United pulled one back just after the hour mark through Ryan Davies and the visitors, who are after every point in their bid for Huws Gray Alliance survival, pressed hard for the equaliser but the Wellmen held firm and claimed all 3 points.
The win see's the Wellmen in 7th place with 47 points from 29 games.
