The Wellmen returned to winning ways on Friday night to complete their pre-season programme.

Welsh Premier League side Bangor City visited Halkyn Road and the visitors took an early lead which they held onto until the second half. The Wellmen piled on the pressure and in the dying minutes, Connor Littler drew the teams level, sliding home from a Ryan Davies pull back. As the game went into stoppage time, Town's Tony Roebuck smashed a great shot past the Bangor keeper to give the Wellmen a 2-1 lead before the Referee blew for full time.

It was a good display by the Wellmen in their last pre-season game of the summer and was much needed after the 4-1 defeat at the hands of Wrexham a few days earlier.

The Wellmen will now look forward to Saturday's league opener against Caernarfon Town at Halkyn Road with a 2.30pm Kick Off.
