Holywell Town reach the final after beating Chirk AAA's 4-2 at tonight's semi final at Buckley Town.

The matched started well for Town, and we took the lead on 4 minutes as Ryan Davidson side footed home from a great cross by Tom Rowlands to give the Wellmen a dream start.

A few minutes later it was 2-0, Phil Lloyd taking advantage of the defender's error in heading the ball backwards, and he ran and scored past the advancing keeper. Chirk pulled one back from the penalty spot with 10 minutes remaining of the first half, Lewis Jones converting the spot kick.

With 5 minutes remaining, Paul D Williams increased Town's lead, scoring from the penalty spot after Phil Lloyd had been brought down, to leave the half time score as Holywell Town 3-1 Chirk AAA.

Town increased their lead on 70 minutes as Dafydd Griffith jumped up well to the ball to head home from a Steve Thomas corner. Chirk scored a consolation goal with a couple of minutes remining through Ashton Williams, but it was the Wellmen who find themselves in the final, and we will know our opponents after the other semi final is played on Wednesday 18th May when Cefn Druids and Gresford Athletic clash at Flint Town United.

Well done lads in reaching the Final!!
