Wellmen progress into the 2nd Round of Welsh Cup

On an emotional day, the Wellmen beat Corwen 3-0 thanks to Jamie McDaid and a brace of goals by Steve Lewis, which saw the Wellmen claim the victory.

Prior to kick off, a touching and heart warming tribute was held to Liam Simpson with a minute's applause, as family members and supporters were able to pay their respects to Liam after the tragic news last weekend.

After the game, Manager John Hasledin said "A really emotional afternoon, thanks to everyone at the game & around North Wales for their tributes to Liam and his family."
