The Wellmen for the second week running fire four goals for a convincing win against the Harbourmen.

" Credit to the boys, they were flawless on a heavy pitch. Back to Back wins and back up to 3rd."
- John Haseldin - Manager

With other League teams in Cup Action, the Wellmen faced Holyhead Hotspur in the only Huws Gray Alliance game of the day, and picked up another 3 points after a 4-0 victory against the Anglesey side.

In-form striker Steve Lewis (Pictured), fresh from his hat trick last week against Airbus once again picked up the match ball after firing another hat trick today. He opened his account on 14 minutes to give the Wellmen a great start, and Jon Jones followed that up with a headed goal with half hour on the clock to give Town a 2-0 half time lead.

The second half was less than 10 minutes old when Lewis added his second, tapping home at the far post before rounding off his hat trick on 68 minutes, after cotrolling the ball just outside the area and firing in an unstoppable shot past Paul Pritchard for his 18th goal of the season.

Manager John Haseldin added after the game, "Never an easy game against Holyhead but the result was well deserved and could have been a few more. Credit to the boys, they were flawless on a heavy pitch. Back to Back wins and back up to 3rd."

Captain Steve Thomas added, "Another class performance from the Holywell Town lads today against a team who are always difficult to play against." And defender Matt Kendrick said, "another convincing display by the Holywell Town lads today, Great team performance. Build the momentum and keep winning games.

The Wellmen now are up to third in the Huws Gray Alliance game and travel to Penrhyncoch next weekend looking for a third win on the bounce.

The Reserves travelled up to Ruthin Town Reserves and came home with a point after a 1-1 draw. The lads were a goal up at the break, courtesy of Jay Wilkes 4th minute opener but the home side equalised in the second half with a break away goal with 13 minutes remaining for a share of the spoils.

Manager Eddie Barry added after the game, "It was slightly dissapointing result coming home with a point after missing a few chances to win the game comfortably with ALex Peters having an impressive debut at left back.
