Holywell Town came out on top after tonight's top two met at Halkyn Road.

Tom McElmeel gave Town the lead on 12 minutes, firing low into the bottom corner past the despairing dive of goalkeeper Gwydion Owen. Phil Lloyd doubled Town's lead on 37 minutes to give the Wellmen a two goal cushion at the break.

Ten minutes into the second half, The Wellmen scored 2 goal in 2 minutes to kill off the game, first to score was Jack D'Arcy who headed home a Sam Jones corner then Matty Harvey poked the ball home in the packed penalty box after another good cross by Sam Jones.

Paul Williams completed the scoring in the 80th minute after turning and firing the ball past Owen with the goalkeeper well beaten.

The win increased Town's lead at the top of the Welsh Alliance to 13 points having played the same amount of games as Llandudno Junction who remain in 2nd place.

Great performance lads and the run continues.....
