Holywell Town fell to a 1-0 defeat to league pacesetters Prestatyn Town.

The first half was played in atrocious weather and Mike Platt saved well from Jordan Davies midway through the half to deny the League's top scorer the chance to increase his tally for the season.

Town were awarded a penalty with a couple of minutes left of the first half when Phil Lloyd was brought down just inside the area. Ryan Davidson stepped up to take the spot kick and unfortunately for Town, Prestatyn Town's keeper Carl Jones saved well, getting a hand to the kick to push the ball onto the post and away from the goal.

With the game scoreless at the break, the visitors were then awarded a penalty and Jordan Davies scored from the resulting spot kick to give the visitors the lead.

Town tried to get an equaliser but it wasn't to be and the game ended 1-0 to the League leaders, who maintained their 100% record for the season.

The Reserves match against FC Nomads was postponed as no referee was available to referee the game, and will be re-arranged for a later date.

Today's other Huws Gray Alliance scores:
Buckley Town 4-3 Caersws
Caernarfon Town 5-1 Gresford Athletic
Conwy 3-1 Penrhyncoch
Guilsfield 5-0 Denbigh Town
Llanfair United 0-2 Porthmadog
Mold Alex 0-12 Flint Town United
