Defeats for both teams as first team lose at Guilsfield and Reserves lose at Halkyn Road.

The 1st team travelled to Guilsfield looking to leapfrog over the Powys side in the league table.
Town had a number of chances in the first half but couldn't turn possession into goals, and were punished on the stroke of half time as Guilsfield broke quickly down the right hand side, and Callum Bromley's back heel was picked up by Adam Jenkins who's shot beat Mike Platt to give the hosts the lead.

Shortly after the break, the home side doubled their lead as Town centre back Dafydd Griffith unfortunately put the ball into his own net. Town went looking for a goal to get back into the game and were unfortunate not to have a penalty with a quarter of an hour to go as the ball clearly came up and hit Guilsfield defender Chris Catherall on the hand, but referee Tom Owen did not give the spot kick.

The hosts grabbed a third with literally the last kick of the match, when Dan Collins punt upfield from close to the halfway line dropped over Mike Platt's head and into the net.

The defeat see's the Wellmen still in 5th spot in the Huws Gray league with 2 games to play, where the Wellmen travel to League Champions Caernarfon Town on Monday then to Llanfair United next Saturday.

The Reserves welcomed Corwen Reserves to Halkyn Road, and they went looking to even matters having lost to Corwen a few weeks back at their place.

The visitors took an early lead and held on to the lead despite Town dominating the majority of the game. Corwen doubled their lead just short of the hour mark. Town got back into the game on 80 minutes as Jay Wilkes scored a great goal with a 25 yard free kick, but despite pressing for the equaliser, Town couldn't get the important goal and the visitors left with all three points.

The Reserves find themselves in 9th position having played 22 matches in the Reserves Division and face Chirk AAA's on Tuesday at Chirk (6.30pm kick off).
