1st Team 4th in Huws Gray Alliance after 4-0 win over Gresford Athletic and Reserves fire 6 past Coedpoeth.

The first team put in a great performance to beat Gresford Atheltic by 4 goals to nil at Halkyn Road.

Steve Lewis (pictured) scored a brilliant hat trick to move to the top of the goalscoring charts and Tom McElmeel got Town's other goal from the penalty spot. Gresford Atheltic had Nathan Peate sent off in conceeding the peanlaty for fouling Steve Lewis in the box as he ran on towards goal.

The Reserves travelled up to Coedpoeth and returned with all 3 points after a great 6-0 win. On the scoresheet for the Wellmen were Jay Wiles who got a brace of goals, Jack Gibbons, Ryan Lawler, Connor Hughes and Owen Davies.

The win see's the Reserves in 5th place in the Reserves Premier Division, 4 points off Mold Alex Reserves who are in top spot. Manager Ben Lewis said it was a very good performance by the lads on a boggy pitch and thoroughly deserved the win.
