Both Teams in action this weekend with the 1st team on the road and the Reserves at Halkyn Road.

The 1st team make the journey to Glantraeth in the Cookson Cup 2nd round looking to progress in the competition that we won last season, beating Llanrug United 5-1 in the final in Conwy.

Town go into the game fresh from the excellent win at Buckley in the Welsh Cup and a win would take them one step closer to retaining the trophy.

Matty Harvey will be missing due to holiday commitments and John Leonard is out due to a wedding. Steve Thomas will once again miss out with the hamstring injury which kept him out of last week's win over Buckley Town. Lee Emberton is hoping to be fit after an injury which has restricted his appearances of late and both Shaun Pritchard and Dan Simm have been added to the squad. Town will be looking at Sam Jones and Phil Lloyd to provide the firepower to give Town the win.

Glantraeth have turned the corner of late after an indifferent start to the season and have currently won 8 out of the last 9 matches, and Town will have to keep an eye on Rory Courlander who has scored 3 goals in the last 4 matches.

The game has an earlier kick off time of 1.45pm due to it being a cup match and the club have a supporters coach leaving the ground at 11.30am. If you would like to Reserve a seat on the bus, please contact a member of the committee asap.

The Reserves welcome Ruthin Town Colts to Halkyn Road, and will be looking to get back to winning ways after drawing their last match and victory could see the Reserves go back to the top of the league after slipping to 3rd place of late.

Town welcome back Paul Turner in goal and will be looking at Connor Hughes and Nathan Hughes to get among the goals for the Wellmen. Town have already played Ruthin Town at their ground and returned with all 3 points after a 3-1 win.

The Reserve Match kicks off at 2.00pm and supporters who are not travelling to Anglesey are reminded that the clubhouse will be open from 1.30pm ahead of the game.

On Sunday, the Youth team entertain Denbigh Town youth at Halkyn Road and that match kicks off at 11.00am.

Good luck to all teams......
