Duo make switch to Greenfield FC

Danny Henley and Adam Price have this week completed their transfers to Greenfield Football Club and are eligible to play this weekend for their new club.

The duo made the move to Greenfield in search of playing regular first team football as it could not be guaranteed at Holywell Town Football Club with some of the new players who have registered or signed over the past couple of months for the Wellmen.

Manager John Haseldin added, Danny Henley has left the club as he felt his chances of starting games were limited this season with the new players have come in. He was a loyal servant to the club through thick and thin and was a member of the FAW Welsh Trophy winning side.

Adam Price has been at the club since the Juniors and broke into the first team at the age of 15 but unfortunately for him and the Club, he suffered a terrible knee injury which ruled him out of action for over a year after showing great promise. And without a Reserve Team this year, we are unable to guarantee him the football he needs to complete his recovery. I would like to wish him all the very best with his recovery and one day see him back in a Holywell Town shirt.

Haseldin also added, "I would like to wish Adam Price and Danny Henley all the very best at their new club and would like to thank them for their loyalty and massive contribution in getting Holywell Town where it is today."
