Holywell Town score 4 second half goals at Glantraeth to reach the Cookson Cup Semi Final.

Holwyell Town travelled to Glantraeth for the quarter final tie and were looking to progress into the semi final of the cup we won last season.

With the game goalless at the break, Town took the lead a couple of minutes into second half through Luke Tyson. Town doubled their lead just after the hour mark as Sam Jones fired home the spot kick before 2 goals in the final 5 minutes from Tyson and Paul Williams saw Town's name go back in the hat for the semi final.

The win see's Town's winning run stretch to 19 matches and the Wellmen will be looking to make it 20 at Pwllheli next Saturday.

The Reserves welcomed Ruthin Town to Halkyn Road looking to get back to winning ways and despite going behind, the Wellmen came back to win 4-1 through Nathan Williams and a Connor Hughes hat trick.

The win see's the Wellmen climb to second spot in the Reserves and Colts league and are two points behind leaders Mold Alex, but have a game in hand on the leaders.

Great win lads......and roll on next week!
