Holywell Town picked up another 3 points this afternoon with a 4-1 win over Gwalchmai.

The Wellmen followed up Wednesday's Mawddach Cup Semi Final win with victory over Gwalchmai to keep our Halkyn Road winning record in tact as we go into the last week of league football .

Luke Tyson opened the scoring on 10 minutes, tapping home from close range after Sam Jones crossed the ball low and hard before Stuart Hayes double Town's lead 35 minutes.

After the break, Tyson grabbed his second of the game before Dafydd Griffith made sure of the points firing home through a packed penalty area with a couple of minutes remaining.

With the referee blowing for full time, Town came off the pitch to a rapturous applause infront of their supporters and the lads can't wait for next Weekends matches which see's the Wellmen travel to Penrhyndeudraeth on Saturday, then Glantraeth at Home on the Bank Holiday Monday.

Roll on next weekend......
