The home side went in at the break one goal up after Paul Griffiths' penalty on 25 minutes, and Llanfair increased their lead on the hour when Griffiths' got his second of the afternoon.

Jamie McDaid pulled one back for the Wellmen on 71 minutes, then 7 minutes later, McDaid got his and Town's second of the afternoon from the penalty spot.

The result leaves the Wellmen in 7th position in the Huws Gray Alliance, with 40 points from 26 matches.

The Reserves travelled to Queens Park in the Welsh National Reserve League, and unfortunately came home empty handed after a 6-3 defeat.
