Holywell Town demolished Llanrwst United by 7 goals to 1 at Halkyn Road.

Town started the game well and took the lead on 6 minutes through Sam Jones before Dafydd Griffith doubled Town's lead on 10 minutes with a great header from a Jones corner.

Llanrwst United pulled one back just after the quarter of an hour mark but Phil Lloyd increased The Wellmen's lead 5 minutes later before Jones added his second and Town's 4th on the half hour mark.

Jones completed his hat trick a few minutes into the second half before Lloyd grabbed his second of the game with an hour on the clock to make it 6-1 to the League Leaders.

Shaun Pritchard grabbed his first goal since returning to the club with a few minutes to go to complete Town's scoring and to keep their winning run going and all eyes now turn to Tuesday's game against Kinmel Bay.

The Reserves travelled to Queens Park in Wrexham in the Reserves & Colts cup and unfortunately were knocked out of the competition after a 3-2 defeat. Town's goals came from Alex Roberts from the penalty spot and Nathan Williams got the second goal.
