Great day for the Wellmen as both 1st Team and Reserve Team pick up three points.

The 1st Team travelled to Prestatyn Town looking to gain revenge over the defeat at Halkyn Road earlier in the season. With the scores level at the break, Graeme Williams broke the deadline early in the second half, firing home from a Connor Littler pass, much to the delight of the travelling supporters.

The score remained 1-0 to the Wellmen and the 3 points lifted the Wellmen to 3rd in the table.

The Reserves entertained Llangollen Town Reserves at Halkyn Road and ran out 5-2 winners. On target for the Wellmen were captain Ashley Davies, Jay Wilkes, Paul Williams, Jack Pennington and Ross Ankers. The win see’s the Reserves in 7th position in the Welsh National Reserves Division.

Next Saturday see’s the 1st team travel to League Leaders Caernarfon Town in the Huws Gray Alliance League Cup and the Reserves welcome Llay Welfare to Halkyn Road in the Reserves Division League Cup.

Well done lads.......
