1st team gain a point and the Reserves pick up all 3!

The first team made the long journey to Holyhead Hotspur and gained a point after a 0-0 draw. The match was spoilt by the weather, with high winds throughout the game and blustery showers during the first half, which hampered both sides as they tried to play football.

The large contingent of Wellmen supporters who made the trip, given the conditions, would have been happy with the point and the scoreline meant the Wellmen remain unbeaten in this season's Huws Gray Alliance League. The Wellmen entertain Penrhyncoch next Saturday at Halkyn Road looking to get maximum points.

The Reserves welcomed Llangollen Town Reserves to Halkyn Road, and ran out 8-0 winners. The team played really well and Jay Wilkes led the way with a hat trick, Paul Cliff and Nathan Williams both chipped in with a brace of goals and Connor Littler completed the scoring. It was Littler's 3 goal in 2 games. The Reserves travel to Saltney Town on Tuesday night, looking to build on today's victory.

Today's other Huws Gray Alliance results:
Denbigh Town 4-4 Caernarfon Town
Gresford Athletic 0-1 Guilsfield
Prestatyn Town 6-1 Conwy United
Caersws 3-2 Ruthin Town
Flint Town United 0-0 Llanfair United
Penrhyncoch 7-1 Mold Alex
Porthmadog 3-1 Buckley Town
