The Reserves beat Coedpoeth today to leave them one win away from being crowned League Champions.

The Reserves travelled to Coedpoeth and returned with all three points after a 4-0 victory.

The lads started off well but were unable to convert any of their chances and the deadlock was finally broken on 40 minutes, Wayne Edwards heading home at the far post from a good Sam Edwards cross. The goal settled the lads and a few minutes later, Town had increased their lead as Nathan Williams effort from 18 yards out found the top corner to give Town a two goal lead at the break.

The second half begun with Town creating chances but again unable to add to their tally until Jack Gibbons (pictured) capitalised on a mix up in defence to find the net from close range. Town rounded off the scoring in the 85th minute as substitute Jay Wilkes headed home to seal the three points.

It was a good hardworking performance by the lads, and the victory see's the side just 2 points behind leaders Penycae, and victory on Wednesday night at Halkyn Road against Coedpoeth will see the lads crowned Reserve and Colts League Champions.
