Holywell Town Reserves eased to a 6-0 victory over Brymbo Reserves at Halkyn Road.

The Reserves, (pictured ahead of tonight's game) were hoping for a victory to open up a 3 point gap at the top of the Reserves and Colts League as their nearest competitors weren't playing until Saturday.
The game started well for the Wellmen and they took the lead in the 12th minute through Josh Robertson, who dribbled past the keeper to slot the ball home. Ten minutes or so later, Town had increased their lead through Jay Wilkes low shot. A couple of minutes later it was 3-0 as Ryan Edge got his name on the scoresheet.

Wth half an hour on the clock, Jay Wilkes added his second of the game, firing home into the top corner before captain Wayne Edwards added a fifth to give the Wellmen a 5-0 lead at the break.

After the break, despite efforts to increase their lead, the Wellmen had to wait until the final few minutes of the half to get their 6th of the night as Dillon Garner fired home to round off the scoring for a convincing win.

The win ensures the Wellmen remain top of the Welsh National Reserves and Cotls league after another excellent victory. Well done lads....
