New signing for the Wellmen

Steve Hopkins signs on the dotted line

Holywell Town football Club are pleased to announce that Steve Hopkins has put pen to paper and signed for the club.

 

Hopkins has bags of experience having played for Connah’s Quay Nomads, Airbus and Caersws in the Welsh Premier League. St Asaph born Hopkins started his career with Wrexham FC then spent four seasons with Connah’s Quay Nomads following his release from Wrexham in 1999. He went on to make over 130 appearances for the Nomads.

Hopkins left the Nomads in 2004 and signed for Airbus then went on to make 68 appearances for the Wingmakers. He then went on to play for Caersws before signing for Flint Town United.

Hopkins is equally at home either in Defence or Midfield and his experience will make him a valuable acquisition for the Wellmen.
