The Wellmen travel to Porthmadog on Saturday looking for three points to remain in second place in the Huws Gray Alliance League.

But the game will be tough against Porthmadog who currently find themselves in 7th position who will also be looking for the win to keep them in touch with those teams just above them.

The Traeth has not been a happy hunting ground for the Wellmen as the past two seasons corresponding fixtures have both seen 1-0 victories for the home side, so the Wellmen know what they are up against.

Manager John Haseldin has no injury worries and has a full strength squad to choose from, except for Danny Desormeaux who is unavailable. Steve Lewis will be looking to add to his impressive goal tally for the season, whilst Steve Thomas and Sam Jones will both be looking to keep up their scoring run going after both scoring in the past couple of fixtures.

THe Wellmen faced Porthmadog earlier in the season at Halkyn Road and picked up all three points courtesty of a 2-0 victory, with Matthew Kendrick and Jamie McDaid getting the goals to give the Wellmen the three points. Porthmadog's cause wasn't helped by Julian Williams seeing red after about 30 minutes played. (picture: Matty Harvey heads goalwards in another Holywell Town attack against Porthmadog)

The Match kicks off at 2.30pm, and it promises to be a great game between two good footballing sides, but hopefully it will be the Wellmen who are celebrating with the three points come teatime on Saturday.
