Holywell Town Reserves made it 7 points from a possible 9 after drawing 2-2 against Penycae at Halkyn Road.

Jay Wilkes gave the Wellmen the lead after 12 minutes before the visitors equalised 5 minutes before the break. The Wellmen lost Wayne Edwards on the hour mark after he was sent off and to make matters worse, the Visitors took the lead on 65 minutes.

As the game entered injury time, the visitors looked like they had done enough for all 3 points, but Jack Gibbons had other ideas and his effort from 30 yards flew into the top corner with virtually the last kick of the game to salvage a point for the Wellmen.

Manager Eddie Barry was full of praise for his side for their courage and spirit and the Wellmen will be hoping to carry on the form into their next game on Friday when they play Ruthin Town Reserves.
