*** Holywell Town v Llanfair United - Match Off ***

After a couple of days of heavy rain and snow, adding to the effects of last week's storm Doris, Wednesday night's match at Halkyn Road against Llanfair United has been postponed to a later date.

The pitch at Halkyn Road (pictured) was inspected late Tuesday afternoon and given the state of the playing surface, with more rain forecast overnight, left us with no alternative but to call the game off.

Weather permitting, the first team's next match will be against Mold Alex at Alyn Park on Saturday, kick off 2.30pm. The Reserves are due to play Ruthin Town at Halkyn Road on Friday night but an inspection will be made on Friday with regard to seeing if that game will get the go ahead.
